Learning How to Dream Again with Keith and Melinda Atkinson

Show Notes -

Change is a scary thing.

Picking up your life and moving your family or starting a new job can be terrifying.

But what about venturing out to start your own business or a significant career change after years of unfulfilled structure?

Shifts like that are an inherent, terrifying release of control. And it doesn't help that our culture doesn't necessarily always support them either.

Calling someone to do something different is hard, especially if they are deep into their rhythms and comfort.

There is predictability we get used to, then for whichever reason, it all gets flipped upside down in what seems like an instant.

Rewind to March 2020. Life, business, careers, and church all changed for everyone. The way we went to work and pursued passions were all forced to be different. This extreme transition was commonplace for everyone, and Keith and Melinda Atkinson were no exceptions.

Our guests on today's episode experienced rapid transition and change from decades of pastoring and teaching and have now found themselves in an entirely new season. They are trying to figure out what is next for their careers and family. Whether picking up on old dreams or adventuring into the unknown, they have an exciting story ahead!

So join Zac and Joe as they talk through all the fears and excitement of "what's next" with this experienced couple as they adventure into the unknown! After you finish the episode, go ahead and head over to PurposePro.Org and get help in your journey of figuring out your next steps.
